*UBACA in action!
Washington DC, March 12, 2010.
Leaders of UBACA,inc. met with Mr. Eskinder Negash (5th from right, 7th from left), the Director of Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The UBACA Delegation came from several States and was led by its president, Mr. Oscar Niyiragira (5th from left, 7th from right).
The aim of the meeting was to convey to the federal authorities the challenges and concerns but also the gratitude expressed by the newly resettled Burundian refugees during UBACA national conference held in December 2009.
The welcome was cordial and the exchanges very fruitful.
